It's time for some real talk! About Let's Do Trivia and the community of people we create by getting together and playing every week at our local establishments (in this case, Touchdown)!
We LOVE Touchdown! We want to keep doing Let's Do Trivia there for YEARS to come! The only way we can, is to have a community of teams! If you've been to other places that have our game, you've seen that while the restaurant is where we play, the teams are what make it a community, and it lasts for years, because those teams keep coming back! Teams that commit to setting aside a night to have fun and relax at our game, while having a laugh and a drink or meal with their friends and family!
Why is this important? Because we all need a break sometimes! We all need an outlet, where we can feel like we've not only recharged, but we've accomplished something. You get that vacation from the weekly grind, we get to host a community of teams of people that get together and better each others' lives. Best part? It's all FREE! If you're going to eat out once a week, why not do it where you get your entertainment packaged with it?
So, "Ben" you're saying, "what are you getting at?" It's simple. All of us get into the habit of saying "I'll get to it" or "I really don't feel like it" with so many things: but, taking the time to experience some joy in life, taking a timeout from the world, is something we should never neglect. It's so easy to burn out! And it creeps up on you quickly! So, all I'm asking is two things: that you make Let's Do Trivia your weekly ritual; it's there for you! We do it for you! Number two, that you mention to a friend or two, that it's there for them too!
